Venues of the Southland~The Resort at Pelican Hill
The Resort at Pelican Hill
If money is not an issue put this one on your list. It is a fabulous place with lots of attention to detail. They only hold one wedding a day and you have lots of perks with that. You are in a separate area called Mar Vista. You are able to relax and get ready in a dedicated Bridal Suite with a make up area and a hair stylist's shampoo bowl. You can have your ceremony outside on the lawn or in La Cappella, both with fabulous views. You also get a Wedding Butler to help you with various tasks in your complimentary Wedding Night Villa. So when thinking luxury and ocean views think Newport Coast and the Resort at Pelican Hill.

Pretty Pictures
The photos below are from an event I went to at The Resort at Pelican Hill earlier this month. I will share more on the venue later this week. It is quite stunning. There were four different tablescapes in black, white & yellow. The linens were from Fusion Linens. Chameleon Chairs provided some of the chairs. MeeMaw's English Toffee provided us with favors. Yummy! The chargers and the place settings were the venuues.

Oscar Day!

This is a favorite day of mine. I can't wait to see what everybody is wearing and who is going to win. I have been watching for years. I'm not sure if I like the move to February though. I do like the move to Sunday nights. I have never been one of the fans that are watching from the street. I was raised only a few miles away from Hollywood/Los Angeles, but I do prefer to watch from home.
Who's your favorite to win?
Happy Reading,

On a side note I have a computer again. It was a long six weeks with limited access. I hope I don't have to go through that again. Thank you everybody for your patience.
