Pretty Pictures

The photos below are from an event I went to at The Resort at Pelican Hill earlier this month. I will share more on the venue later this week. It is quite stunning. There were four different tablescapes in black, white & yellow. The linens were from Fusion Linens. Chameleon Chairs provided some of the chairs. MeeMaw's English Toffee provided us with favors. Yummy! The chargers and the place settings were the venuues.

Enjoy,

Black & White Inspiration Board

Black & White Damask
Classic & Elegant!!

I was going to wait and do this one later. These are the colors I have been using for years. My house is decorated in black & white. My clothes are mostly black & white, so I thought I would start off making inspiration boards of colors I normally don't use in my everyday life 1st. Then I fell in love with the chandelier and I couldn't resist. I decided damask was ideally suited to go with it. Here's my take on black & white. Enjoy!!!

Viva la France

Ok, you cannot have a name like A Joyeux Day without loving all things French, so when I saw these I fell in love. Is it not just the cutest? It is a little box by Studio d. Sharp. You can buy one for an engagement ring and add a "Marry Me" sign or you can buy several and put candy in them to use as favor boxes. Thank you to Parisian Party Blog for posting this 1st.

French Country Cake Display

I love anything in Black & White & add 'French' to it I'm even more ga-ga. Isn't this a cute display for them. You could do the same for a bridal shower in smaller versions.
This is from Modern Bride.
