More Pictures!

Here are some more photos from the special event. This time we are featuring tabletops for Weddings.

You know I just loved the one below! It is described as Hot is not only for the tropics. By mixing Bamboo with non Asian elements you come up with a modern look. I love the floral chandelier the placesetting and the fun centerpiece.

This one is called One (wo)man's trash is another (wo)man's treasure. It is used with discarded greenery. Don't you love the personalized napkins?

They called this one Classic Design. Always in Style. The return of opulent, formal decor without the over the top abundance. I love the Croquembouche and the bride's bouquet just laying there on the seat.

Enjoy,

The photos were taken by me. The tables were done by Rene van Rems International & Exclusive Designs & Events.

Beautiful Cakes

Here are some stunning cakes I had the opportunity to view at The Special Event. A trade show for the event industry. It was held in San Diego this year so of course I had to go!

Aren't the flowers fabulous? This is from San Diego Desserts.

This adorable one is from Bon Bon.

This fun cupcake tower was made by Cupcakes Squared.

I love the shell topper on this one made by Dazzle M Desserts.

I don't know what I like more on this Tiffany Blue cake the lacing up the front and crystals all over the cake or the tiara and veil. Made by Babycakes.

Enjoy.

Pretty Pictures

The photos below are from an event I went to at The Resort at Pelican Hill earlier this month. I will share more on the venue later this week. It is quite stunning. There were four different tablescapes in black, white & yellow. The linens were from Fusion Linens. Chameleon Chairs provided some of the chairs. MeeMaw's English Toffee provided us with favors. Yummy! The chargers and the place settings were the venuues.

Enjoy,

Fun Things

Here are few fun products I saw at The Special Event last week~A trade show for the event industry.  I will post some my own photos when I finally get my computer back.

You can customize a plastic 7 1/2 inch plate with photos.  The more you buy the more you save. These are great for showers or casual rehearsal dinners/weddings.  You just upload your photo, play with it and you have yourself a cute little plate.

With this company you can customize the scent of your wedding.
Let's say you fall in love with a venue but there is an odor.  You can use Scentevents to 'mask' the smell.  You can also use them to convey a feeling that you want.  Just another way to customize you event.

As the name suggests these are confetti with your photos on them.  They are one inch rounds and double sided.  You also can choose different colored accent pieces to add in.  Since Photofetti is larger you should be able to use them in most venues.  You also just upload your photos and order all online.

Mr. Joyeux & I used personalized M & M's at our wedding {four years ago} with our names and dates on two different colors of M & M's .  Now you can also include your photos.  They have 25 colors to choose from, although they can't print on the darker colors.  They have introduced shimmers {gold, platinum and pearl}.  How pretty would those be?  You just upload your photos, add a message and you can now also choose your font.  So fun!

So check these out for other ways to personalize your wedding or any other event.

Will you be my...

What a great idea! Instead of asking your attendants if they would be your maid of honor, best man, etc., why not send them a cookie. You can completely customize it in your wedding colors. You put their name on it and yours and your fiance's and wala it is then sent to your nearest and dearest! How could anyone say no after receiving a white chocolate covered sugar cookie?

These are from the Wedding Stand. Thank You Rashana from The Bridal Party for sharing these with the bloggger world.

Let's JAM

I just went to an industry event called the LA JAM. Here are a few photos of that event. It was held at the Pasadena Convention Center which is in the middle of a renovation. It will be completed in the Spring of 2009.

This is the outdoor lounge and liquid dance floor that greeted you as you entered.

The lounges were furnished by FormDecor. The florals by SPASE Las Vegas.

This food display is by the Pasadena Convention Center catering company Boston Culinary Group.

She is from Champagne Showgirls. Kinda of a cool concept. She had a few different appetizers on her 'table'. They have different costumes for differnt occasions.

This would be a fun Save the Date.

They take two photos of you and then put them together. It was kinda hard for me to take a photo of the two different poses! by Get Flipped.

A lot of photo booth companies are now making scrapbooks/memory books of your guests photos and their well wishes. Some even do them at the event. These are from Four Quick Clicks.

I wrote about Images on Chocolate in June but I didn't have an image of me. So here is my image and my son enjoying eating his mommy's face a little too much!
