200th A Joyeux Blog Post!

This is the 200th post of A Joyeux Blog. I have had visitors from all of the continents over the last year and a half. When I started this blog I just thought I would have people from Southern California visit. I didn't think about having an audience throughout the world. Besides the United States, I get the most visitors from Malaysia. I wrote about pre-wedding parties and it was posted to a forum. So hello, Malaysia Brides. If you look on Cluster Maps you can see where all our visitors came from during the last year. I have tried to post a least twice a week but that doesn't always happen. I have a few series, Beverage Monday { I am the most consistent on this one}, Venues of the Southland, Traditions & Superstitions {I havn't posted in awhile to this one} & our newest one ~Friday Shopping~. I have also posted a few Inspiration Boards. So I hope you keep on stopping by my labor of love and check out what is going on with A Joyuex Blog & my life.

In celebration of 200, I have introduced a new signature and a new blog banner.

Happy Reading,

Clustrmaps

Locations of visitors to this page

This is A Joyeux Blog's actual map!

I don't know if you have noticed the map on the lower right side of A Joyeux Blog. It is from Clustrmaps. It shows you where people have visited you from. I put it up on September 29th and during the last 30 days I have had visitors from six continents. {I don't think there are that many people getting married in Antarctica!} When I put it up I thought I would probably just get visited from a few people in California. How surprised I have been to have people from all over the world reading my blog. It does only count people who have visited my blog directly not those who receive email subscriptions or my feed. So if you want to show up as a dot click on through.

Thank you to all of you that have visited,

Wedding Mapper

I have seen Wedding Mapper during my blog stalking, so I decided to give it a try. It is a cool site that lets you map your Wedding sites, Airport, Hotel and place icons on those places. Anything that an out of town guest might need to learn about the city that you're getting married in. It's a Google map so it works in the same way. You can zoom it, and move it around on the page.
I decided to try it with my ceremony and reception site. I also included where we lived at time we were married and the hotel we got ready in and spent our honeymoon night. This is a fun tool to put on your wedding website for your guests.
