I'm a California Girl with silver hair living in Florida The first 200 or so posts are from my wedding planning company. Now they're about being a widowed midlife woman, the things I like, the places I've been, and becoming a travel agent for solo women who like going to Disney properties & sunny locations all over the world. For December, how about an ice blue, white snowflake with touches of silver inspitation board? When I started this I was thinking cold and icy. An Elegant, Winter Wonderland! Not at all what we get here in Southern California~unless it's man-made.Silver Snowflake Invitation{Invitation Consultants}

I am from Southern California and here we don't really see the changing of the seasons. September is still hot and sometimes it's hot even into October. Our trees don't change colors and we have to drive for awhile before we can see a farm or pick apples. However, I love the colors and texture of the season. I am also a October baby so I have always been fascinated by Autumn. So this is a little sampling of the feeling of fall even if it doesn't seem like fall where you live and you have to manufacture it.
In honor of this week's Mexican Independence Day I thought we should feature a Mexican Inspiration Board. Mexico is a very colorful place. So this one features the many colors of Mexico and also a couple of must haves at Mexican weddings.
Adios,
Happy 50th Anniversary Mom & Dad!
This board is in honor of the two people who raised me on this, their Golden Anniversary.
My parents were married 50 years ago today.In my grandparents backyard under an avacado tree. My mom wore a blue dress and had flowers in her hair. My Dad wore a navy suit. If you read my posts you know that I lost my mother three years ago, and we won't be having a party today to celebrate them. Five years ago, my now husband and I were able to celebrate their 45th with them. I am glad we were able to at least celebrate that one in style.

In honor of Independence Day, I thought I would do a Red, White & Blue Inspiration Board. You can do the patriotic colors without having the flag emblazoned on everything. Next year we will celebrate 4th of July on a Saturday and why not do the colors for your patriotic wedding. Plus, as a bonus you get to cap the evening off a great firework display and hand out sparklers to your guests.
